Children have been given lessons on friendship in a fun filled way through the animated movies which had friendship as their subject. One of the interesting movies of recent past, which, though had a different plot, had friendship as its subplot was, Big. Big featured Tom Hanks as a 12 year old boy, who had grown over night.
Big, is a story of a 12 year old boy, Josh Baskin, played by David Moscow. When Josh is humiliated in an attempt to woo an older girl of his school, he decides to make himself older. He goes to a fair, and has an encounter with a wish fulfilling machine, Zoltar Speaks. This machine listens to his wishes and transforms him to an adult, overnight. The next morning, he can hardly recognize, the face he sees in the mirror. No one believes that he is Josh, except for his best friend Billy Kopecki. With Billy's help, Josh moves to the city and decides to have a job of his own. He joins a toy company. Soon, Josh moves up the corporate ladder as he can understand the mind of the children more than any adult. But with passing time, he becomes distanced from his best friend Billy. This makes him decide to go back to his older life of being a child again. Thus friendship wins over every other bond. To know other instances of Friendship in Movies, browse through the site.
